Scores

Each time you find the secret word, you get between 100 and 150 points depending on the difficulty level. For instance, a simple word like 'CONCERT' is worth 100 points when a more difficult one like 'RIVALISES' is worth 150.

Double your score by finding the secret word in 3 tries only, make it fivefold by finding it in 2 tries only, and tenfold if you find it in the very first guess !!!

Check your scores and statistics in the "Score" view. Use the "Clear" button if you want to reset scores.

Settings

Letters : Choose word length, ranging from 5 to 12 letters.

Difficulty level : Choose the average level of difficulty for secret words: "Easy", "Medium", "Hard" or "Expert". The "Expert" level may submit rarely used, ancient, regional or even technical words.

Attempts : Choose the number of attempts available to find the secret word.

Speed : The higher the speed, the less time you get time for each try. A gauge allows you to estimate the remaining time.

Game mode :

1. •Training : Just practice, and score!
   

2. •Marathon : Find as many words as you can, with an increasing difficulty, and reach the best score in one go without failing. The game starts with the chosen difficulty level and stops at the first failed attempt.
   

3. •Time trial : Find a predefined number of words in a limited amount of time. A timer shows the remaining time for the current game. You can adjust the duration of the time trial and the number of words to find to your liking.
   

British english : Include (or exclude) British English vocabulary.

Graphics and sound : Choose one of the available skins or switch on/off sound effects.
